Mid-face Lift
A midface lift, also known as a cheek lift or midface rejuvenation, is a surgical procedure designed to address sagging of the cheeks and midface area around the cheekbones, lower eyelids, and nasolabial folds (lines from the nose to the mouth).

The Process
As with any surgical procedure, consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon is essential to determine candidacy and discuss expectations and potential risks.
During a midface lift, the surgeon makes incisions typically within the hairline or inside the mouth to access the deeper tissues of the midface. It lifts and repositions the fat pads and muscles of the cheeks to restore youthful volume and contour. This procedure helps smooth out deep nasolabial folds and elevate sagging cheeks, resulting in a more youthful and refreshed appearance.
Recovery time varies, but patients typically experience bruising and swelling that subsides within a few weeks. Results are long-lasting, although they do not halt the natural aging process, and patients can expect a rejuvenated midface that enhances overall facial aesthetics.
