Large Nose
A larger than normal nose may be perceived as disproportionate to facial features, causing distress or functional issues. It can affect self-esteem and cause social discomfort. The goal of a rhinoplasty, then, is often to achieve balance and harmony with other facial features. Separately, structural abnormalities associated with a large nose, such as a deviated septum or nasal valve collapse, can impact breathing and overall nasal function. In this case, functional improvements can be incorporated into the procedure.
Fix-It
Reduction Rhinoplasty focuses on reducing the overall size of the nose, refining the nasal tip, or narrowing the nasal bridge. This can be combined with a septoplasty or turbinoplasty. A combination of both may be necessary to achieve the desired functional and aesthetic outcomes.
