Deviated Nasal Septum
Deviated Nasal Septum is a significant shift in the nasal septum which can obstruct sinus drainage and airflow, contributing to sinus infections and congestion and sometimes nosebleeds, and snoring . A surgical procedure called septoplasty is done to correct this issue. A hole or opening in the nasal septum is called a Septal Perforation a condition that may result from various causes such as trauma, certain medications, underlying medical conditions or cocaine use.
