Allergic Rhinitis
Sinus Allergies (Allergic Rhinitis), commonly called hay fever is the inflammation of the nasal passages and sinus linings due to allergic reactions to airborne allergens such as pollen, dust mites, pet dander, or mold spores. Symptoms include sneezing, nasal congestion, itching of the eyes or nose, watery eyes, and post-nasal drip where mucus drips down the throat from the back of the nose, causing throat irritation. Postnasal drip can sometimes lead to a persistent cough and/or halitosis (bad breath).
